Ive heard a lot of people say that a steeda is nice but other people talk about JLT, and S&B but i have a stock 05 mustang and what is probably the best combination for a tuner and CAI for HP and torque?

C&L Racer with a Xcal3 custom tuned from a reputable tuner like VMP Tuning.

I installed a JLT II on my 08 5spd, with a custom dyno tune it made 292 HP on a Mustang dyno. You can't go wrong with the C&L or JLT.

I love me Steeda parts, but I haven't tried any other intakes to be able to compare it to mine. I noticed HUGE gains with the Steeda CAI and my Steeda tune.

can't go wrong with c&l, jlt, or steeda....get a tune as well and it'll make a world of difference. I have vmp and i am very satisified, brenspeed and bama chip also have a great rep.

JLT intake with the XCAL3 tuner and a custom dyno tune is the best way to go IMO.

I currently have the JLT CAI on my 2005 Mustang GT. I had loaned to me a Steeda CAI and C&L Racer for a test I never did. I personally like the C&L racer.

That said, I am not sure a CAI is a great investment for these cars. I haven't had my car at the track with the CAI installed on it. However when all I had was a tune( SCT X-Cal 2 ) and stock airbox, I was running slightly faster E.T.s and similar MPH to those that had a CAI and tune. The tune is a bigger piece of the equation than the CAI is. This spring when I get to the track, I do intend to see how the car does with the CAI compared to the stock airbox.
