Best Car Cover

What is the best outdoor car cover for my 07? I bought one from Sams the other day and the damn thing does more damage than anything. I didn't realize that it is not an outdoor cover and lets water through. I need one that will keep water and everything out of my paint while outdoors.

A good cover can run around $300.00 dollars. It should have multiple layers to ensure no snow or water will bleed through and a nice felt of fleece backing to keep all scratches to a minium. You can hit up google for many different brands

Also, Ford has a cover available as an accessory now, but I haven't checked into it

Another tip for outdoor storage - some of the rain water can splash up from the ground and get past your cover. So that when you take the cover off next spring, the bottom half of your car will need a washing.... Use a couple extra straps to secure the entire cover to your car.

Wolf Duralight car cover

For what its worth, I bought a Wolf Duralight cover in the size Large this weekend, The size recomended on the box for our cars. It is way to narrow and just a little short.

This is an indoor use, inexpensive dust cover type. Fortunately, it will fit one of my other cars.

It works really well for outdoor use!!!!! I had mine under the cover for 16 days straight. It rained several of those days and when I uncovered it, it was as shiny as it was before I put it on. No water spots anywhere, no cover fuzz left behind. The only gripe I have with it is that you either have to cut a hole in the cover(which I did)or remove your antenna every time you use it. They supply some really cheap circle stick on POS that is I guess supossed to prevent the cover from ripping where the hole is cut, but it is super cheap and pops right off the first time you move the cover. I sewed in a heavy duty piece of vinyl on the underside of the cover. That seems to hold quite nicely. I did also get a stubby antenna so I wouldn't have to fool around with snaking the HUGE factory antenna through the small hole. All in all I would HIGHLY recommend this cover.
