OK, it's for my H/O, but you guys are the champs! :nice:

The 73-75 Hurst Olds all came with a special padded top. My car had it replaced before I got it, probably at no small cost. I want to clean it, and then put on a GOOD preservative, but NOT Armor All or anything like that. A good, rich solution that will keep is soft, and protect the vinyl.

Remember - the top is white and easilly seem, and touched alot by curious dolts!

Thanks!

i use blue coral convertible and vinly top cleaner and conditioner to clean the top and then use meguiars professional vinyl and rubber dressing on it to keep it looking new, seems to be working really well so far and it has UV inhibitors as well. i learned the hard way not to use any kind or armor all type or silicone based dressings on the vinyl top on my old 70 cougar, it had a prefect original vinyl top on it when i bought it, still nice and soft/supple, but after about 1 month after i started using some silicon based dressing it was totalled and already starting to rip. the mequiars stuff is specifically for exterior vinyl and rubber and is not silcone based
