so theres a badass white GT runnin around here, from what my eyes can see its pretty badass, some gauges inside, great exhaust note, 5 lug, 4 wheel discs, great sized wheels and stance, ect.

a manager at my work thought he knew him, and he said he thought there was a 5.8 in there. i dunno for sure if he does or not

but anyways, was in the GFs car goin down the road and he was a few cars up in the other lane yada yada, caught up with him yelled nice car, ive talked to him before in my car but he didnt recognise me.

anyways his car sounds amazing, its not loud, but it has a good note at idle, and its a smooth, deep kinda sound that gets louder as you climb, i was watching his tach from the car i was in and i think the highest he got up to was 3 ish. but its sound seemed to pull very smoothly on up and not die off. it had the v8 rumble part and all it was just smooth sounding. he eventually got ahead of us and we were behind him and i could smell his car pretty well (not in the burning oil way) so its possible he was catless.

i have 3 chamber flows (catback) stock everything else, and its great up till 2.5 - 3.0 then it just shuts up, i want something that wont attract the military and all other law enforcement officials under 2 but to scream when i get on the loud (pun intended) pedal.

any sugestions? my shop didnt weld my stuff together, so i think i could get it changed pretty easy if i just bought the mufflers.

thanks.

Exhaust is so dependant on a bunch of things, it would be impossible to tell. I had dynomax ultra flows on my 98 Cobra and it sounded great, but again heads/cam/intake all change the tune of exhaust so...

Simply put, the flowmaster setups sound the best. Not the best quality though. Personally i'd rather have bassani.

I have a 3 chamber catback, add a 2.5 offroad x pipe to your car, and it will be a completely different sound, trust me.
Your cats are like having 4 extra mufflers on the car, and the kill all the sound depth.

If you can't go catless because of your state laws. (which doesn't stop too many people anyway) Get a highflow x with cats.

Bassani prefferbly.

now does magnaflow make the straight through glass pack design for our cars now or just a muffler style. which one are you guys sugesting?

Im almost certain Magnaflow is straight through, go to their website. I would personally go for something thats extremley loud thats just what I like, and cops around here wont bother me, but Magnaflow has a very nice deep sound, not loud idle, but explodes when you step on it.

its a straight through design.. its stuff with some kinda material.. don't think its like fiberglass or anything of that sort.. i'll only run magnahoe lol i run
lt's and a bbk X
