Best Frame Connectors?

I have a 67 coupe with a 393 that is going to see some street/strip use and my car only came with one torque box. So I need to install some frame connectors. I would like to weld them in. What brand would you recommend?

Thru the floor as a first choice

Easier is TCP or Global west. The GW are a little easier to install, and are round tubing.

I don't have any on my car yet, but I like the design of the Maier Racing connectors. They are longer and connect in 4 places instead of 2, like most others.

Even if you get connectors, you should still ad the RH torque box.

Even better than add-on connectors is to install convertible inner rockers. Much more effective than connectors, because that's what they are, only like 4 times as strong as add-ons. Not an easy project, though, and of course there's no going back.

Used Tinmans - nice fit and finish. Did some research prior to buying as was not disapointed. I have another 70 I'm putting together and plan on adding them

65-73 Mustang Subframe Connectors

The thing I don't like about all the connector on the market is that they don't attach to any structural metal in front. Every thing I have seen attaches to the floor support, which is thin metal. The front frame rail is much more substantial. The frame rail ends about a foot in front of where most connector start. Mine go into the front frame rails up to where the rail angle up. Mine are about 20" longer than what you can buy and are through the floor. They are a pain to put in, but tie th frames together good.

Attached below. Surprise they have not been mentioned by anyone already. Once in they look like they are part of the car and not and add on. They dont attached to floor but hug it nicely. Basically cut open end of front frame rail and slide in and weld. Back end fits up to rear frame rail and welds in. Pretty easy to put on - I did them in a couple hours with my mig. I've heard other that use muffler shops to weld once they prepped frame rails.,

Basically cut open end of front frame rail and slide in and weld.

That is some thin metal.

The connector fits pretty tighlty within the frame rail. Slides in about 10". Besides welding around the opening, you drill a couple holes in frame rail first. One connector inserted into rail you plug weld those also Pretty solid fit.

I am going to go with the Tinmans & add a tourqe box. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
