Best Header Prices

I'm looking for a pair of 94-95 Ford Motorsport Ceramic Coated Shorty Headers online right now. The best price I could come up with was $299.95 at Gene Evans Ford Racing. Is there a better price out there, and are these good headers? Also, should I go with stainless steel or just stick with the ceramic coated headers? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the FRPP stainless steel shorty's for 11 months now and they have discolored and look a little rusty. The positives about the headers is the weld quality, the fit is A+, and the flanges are top notch.
If you care at all about how they look in a few months and don't mind the extra $, get the ceramic coating on them. If performance is the only consideration, save some $ and get the stainless. As for prices, I haven't been looking at the shorties lately so I can't help you.
BTW, I have a set of new MAC jet hot coated longtubes on the way any day now. I can't wait.

I just don't want it to be a problem later in the future when I'm taking them off for any reason. Thanks for the information. It's been really helpful.

I would get some longtubes- do it right the first time.

I would get the ceramic coating for sure...

i'm with super stallion, the longtubes are the way to go. better for future mods. and yes, get the ceramic coated. cheapest i found them were $339.99 at summitracing. will check out that evans website.

Ceramic coating is a must. MAC has some new long tubes out now that I would go for. You could try that or go on ebay. BTW stunner, super stallion is not his user name.

Just went to the MAC website and it seems they do offer ceramic now. Look into the New Products section. The shorties go for $279 with ceramic coating.

Which would you recommend, BBK Longtubes or Shorties (equal or unequal) and do they come in ceramic too? I haven't had the patience to look yet, it takes a while on dialup.

This is the second car I've had BBK Chrome Unequals, and I cannot complain one bit. Note they change colors, but not to a rusty color.. its kinda cool actually. For $159.. and that includes gaskets and bolts.

JVelt. I dont know the Best price, but $300 sounds good.

I wont tell you what to get, but I WILL say this:

"I have had my FMS Ceramic Shorties since 1996. They still look like brand new (for sure). Never had any problems with them"

That is going on 8 years now!!

The coating is definitely worth it, long OR shorties.
