hi, i whant to know what heads are good for a 351 overbored to .040 arround 10.1 CR maybe using stage 2 TFS cam (the engine is HR) auto trans, Air gap intake carbed, i whant A good head but not too spencive i was looking in jegs and summit this heads Dart PRO 1 #13211112 the are 195cc intake and 75cc exhaust, i whant to see experts answers please....

AFR's all the way! They may cost a little more, but they are still the best value for the dollar though. They outperform, plain and simple. They even come CNC ported.

I'm still using the AFR 165 heads from my 302 on my 351w, but will upgrade to the AFR 205 heads sometime next year.

Everyone else who's seen the freshly unpackaged AFR's please repsond also. Everyone who saw mine before I installed them was drolling and wanting to trade.

are dart aluminum heads good? 195CC intake and 75CC exhaust 2.02 intake valve and 1.6 exhaust valve part #13211112 i saw them in summit and they are not expensive

The darts are decent. You don't care about emissions? If so your head choice is cake. Don't bother with what you see all over the forums, edelbrock, afr, trick flow etc. You want dart, brodix, all the stuff you don't hear about which probably explains why I can't think of any more off the top of my head.

those are raised port/canted valve heads. . . . . it is going to take a little more than just bolting those on to make them work! And his motor is too small for them!

Naaaaaaaahhhhhhh.
They're -just right!- :nice:

Besides, once you've got those, you gotta go get all the other goodies to make them work.
"not to be used on the street" = must have :D

made 475hp on engine dyno with mine with AFR 185's and a cam VERY similar
to the TFS 2

instead of TFS stg2, check out CompCams XFI 236HR-14
very happy with its results
( obvilously your using a 351W roller cam block? )

tfs stage 3's hog ported here. not exactly an emissions car though lol. but i would definitely recommend tfs heads as they are good priced and u can port the hell out of em. downside to afr's is the lack of meat to work with, being cnc'd is cool if you want a box stock head on a daily driver/weekend racer.
