Best Intake for my 331??

Hi guys,
I'm building an all forged 331 from coast high. It is going to have a 150-200 shot of nitrous and a decent size cam(558 lift and 230 duartion at .50). I'm using mildly ported Edelbrock heads and about 11:1 compression. What do you think would be the best intake if I am planning on spinning it to about 6,500rpm. Thanks for the help.

Maybe an Edelbrock Performer or a Trickflow Track heat.
A ported Cobra should work as well.
Where are you getting the cam? If it is custom, then have the cam maker suggest an intake.
I know the FTI combo uses the Edelbrock, which is a good intake.
But I like the look of Trickflow.

TFS R should weork great since your gonna be spinning to 6500. Justcam it right. If the R scares you, i'd use the holley, but the R will get you down the track faster. I just got an email back from a custom cam designer, so im speaking his words basically. No need for a forged crank in your application. Thasts just more weight on the rotating assembly and will slow you down. Use a cast steel crank, a stock block will crack way before a cast crank breaks!

I was told directly from a very well known person that even though the R intake will outflow the holley, the holley will always outperform it from 1500-7000 rpms. He has literally thousands of dyno pulls to his credit so I definitely believe him. My nod goes to the holley systemaxII for sure. That's what I run on my 306.

Define "outperform". I am not trying to discredit you, I just bought a R intake for my 331, and I am just curious what you mean. Did the guy test the two intakes on the multiple motors with different cam and head combos? Can you direct me to more info on the two intakes. Just triying to get all the info I can. Thanks.
