So i have decided to go with the magnapacks for my catback. Now i have the tuff decision of what mid pipe to go with. I dont know if an x or h pipe will sound the best. also should i get catted or no cats. I have heard the MRT H pipe withs cats and it sounds nice. Any suggestions would really help. Thanks

I am not surprised by how many new threads about the exhaust thread came up. This is part of the reason why other people in other forum don't like stangnet. Anyhow, I don't really give a hoot if people like or dislike stangnet or not, but may I propose an exhaust forum here in stangnet?

I know that the search button will help you much more than posting new thread about the same topic. But I also know that getting new answer in real time is a lot better than doing the search. So, please take that as a consideration. I'm sure it has been proposed before.

----> back to the topic. From all the research I've done that led me into getting the set-up that I have in my sig. I went to www.mustangexhaust.com and listen to the sound clip between X and H pipes for magnapack and found out that it sounded pretty much the same. Majority of people have said that Magnapack sound loudest with o/r H pipe and possibly sounded best with that. But, it has somewhat proven that X pipe produced more power than H. So, that's why I got X. Hope I helped somewhat.

doesn't really bother me, i have asked a few in my days. but agree about the exhaust forum. prob. wouldn't work cause only people going in there would be people asking questions. i doubt anyone else would venture in there to be barraged by 900 posts about same thing. i d@mn sure wouldn't go in there.

I would suggest looking into the Pro-Chamber. I have it coupled to my Packs and it sounds hella bad! It is very mellow at idle, and at WOT it screams. There is alittle drone around 2200 RPM's and sure MAC quality isn't the greatest, but the sound is amazing. I dropped the top for the first time since I had my exhaust done, and it scared the hell out of me when I hit the fun pedal. Now I know how everyone feels when I drive by.........

I've heard that the Dr. Gas makes the most power, or as I call it, Dr. Jigsaw Puzzle. The idea of having your midpipe come in a bunch of different sections that you need to have welded together seems like total to me. But it puts out the best numbers, oh well.
