This may have been discussed before but being a somewhat newbie, what do you guys think the best dollar per horse power modification are (going from least expensive to the most expensive)?

Thanks.

Gears, t-lok and a tuner can knock off close to half a second of the V6 quarter mile. Maybe throw an 11psi procharger kit or a turbo kit on there with a GOOD tune and a dual exhaust, and you'll be putting down some good numbers (around 300hp), probably 13s, high 12s if your good and lucky. Depends on where you live too, lower elevations respond better to boost. All that for $5500.

Or if you don't want to spend all that money, don't mess with the forced induction, you can do simple things like gears, t-lok, tuner, short-throw shifter if manual, exhaust, K&N drop in with air silencer removed, and if you are good with a drill get a basic port kit, and port it yourself for some gains there. Theres also cams that you can do, they put out good numbers, but if you don't know what you are doing, it'll cost quite a bit in labor charges.

Quick power, wet ZEX nitrous kit is about $500 and that'll add about 50-75hp depending on the shot you run (don't run over 75). TMA Turbo kit is about $2800 then add an intercooler and it's alittle over $3000. $4200 is the 11psi Procharger kit with an intercooler, that is some good strong gains there. $2000 would get a set of port and polished intake and heads with a cam, 60hp gains are usual for that.
