Started working on a project that will be "requiring" a healthy shot of nitrous (thinking 300 :D) Ive had nitrous cars before and set up quite a few kits just not for bigger shots. Just looking for the best bang for the buck kit that will support what im shooting for. i know NX has a single jet system thats good to 400, and NOS has a few big shot kits, but this is an EFI build and they dont seem to have what im after. Not opposed to a carb swap, just willing to avoid it if possible. If its not possible ill just switch it to a carb car and run a plate.

any suggestions?

another question, what kind of other fuel system requirements am i looking at?
Ive got a 255 pump and 24# injectors, (dont know that these will be nearly enough), adj reg, and stock rails. Am I ok with just running larger injectors or should i run some sort of seperate fuel cell, another pump etc? I ran a 150 shot on a 302 but this is in a different ball park.

which is exactly what i was thinking, but NX claims to have a kit that works.

any brands in specific? i liked my zex kit but it wont support that big of a shot

Induction Solutions makes a sweet kit for the Victor 5.0 that is very compact for a direct port

I have a plate that i will be getting flowed for my trick flow R intake but with the EFI stuff you have to be careful running over 200 on them. If you are planning on running that much for a long time, do a direct port(expensive) or just switch to a carb.

id personaly switch to a carb and a plate kit... run a bypass regulator and a 2nd regulator for the nitrous set up.

i would want to pull that much fuel out of efi setup unless you ran a stand alone tank for the nitrous

we use NOS nozzels and fulton 'noids on the race car. btw are you going to try and hit it with a 300 out of the hole?
nah, probably do 2 stages, this is just in the planning process at this point so im up for any ideas really. Ive got a friend that sprays 300 out of the hole, the car gets with it pretty damn good but id rather not do it that way.

Yeah i was thinking it might be a little much to try and do off the rail so i thought a stand alone cell might work. Starting to seem like a carb/plate deal might be the easier, better route.
