I see a lot of threads on CAI's. I want to get one without a tune. The ones I have been looking at are:
C&L ~$320
K&N ~$286
S&B~$205
The S&B one claims the most hp and is the least expensive, but I assume without a tune that they would all be about equal. I have never heard of S&B and I am wondering if it is a quality part. If it is I think I might get it to save the $80 vs the K&N, but if it is not very well built than I would just go with the K&N

In the end I ordered the S&B intake from jegs along with an axle back exhaust on Sunday. I didn't really want to spend too much and I want to stick with 87 octane. It was only $205, so that's why I didn't go for one with a tune. I've had CAIs on previous cars and felt like it gave a slight gain so I figured it was worth a shot. I'll see if it makes a subjective difference after the install.
I didn't have my tuner or 93 in the tank that day. I go on the 18th of this month to see what Doug's 93 race tune does.
