I was just curious what is the best oil to use for an '02 GT. The guy at Autozone told me that 5W20 is what Ford recommends. He didn't have any synthetic blend and told me regular SAE would be fine on my 15K mile car. Is he right or should I go find synthetic?

You should go find synthetic and keep your car lasting long right from the start. Since 5W-20 isn't an available grade for synthetic oil, Mobil 1 recommends the use of 0W-20 which will still provide the best protection and mileage for your engine. And by the way, this information could be found on www.mobil1.com as a source for this recommendation of oil. :nice:

Quaker State makes a full synthetic 5W-20.
