Best Pistons For A Supercharged Motor?

Are forged aluminum .30" overbore pistons with valve reliefs good for a supercharged setup of a moderate 12-14lbs. of boost?

Huh?

Any piston will work with a supercharger,but one with lower static compression ratio's (9.5-8.0:1) will work the best.Forged pistons are stronger than cast/hyperutectic and you should run them to get more reliablity out of the motor on boost.

Im also running JE's SRP pistons....and i was very impressed with the product. I would suggest spending the money up front because tearing a motor down to replace cheap pistons will really piss you off. I would say stick with a lower comp. piston around 8.5:1. good luck man

JE SRP all the way! Hands down! No questions asked! I even put them in my N/A just in-case !

I build with a lot of Probe pistons and have never had an issue with them, PERSONALLY I would pick them over a SRP.

Now I do like the full blown JE models.
