I'll be putting 4 wheels disc brakes on my 67 fastback, soon. I'm thinking I'll put 16" or 17" Chrome Edelbrock 454 wheels on it.

Does anyone have any connections? Where's the best reputable place to get a good price?

I seem to remember hearing that the Edelbrock 454s aren't being manufactured anymore, so I suspect you'll have to search pretty hard to find a set. Good luck!

correct....they arent made anymore. Finding a set will be VERY VERY difficult. Mustang Depot have GT40 wheels that are very very similar. I tried to get a set of eddys last year....most of the dealers laughed at me

I just picked up a set of 17X8 silvers about a month and a half ago. Got them from a guy on ebay for $899 USD + shipping but now there are none left on there ethier. www.customwheelsdirect.com had the 17's in chrome at the time but it wasn't what I wanted. He still listed them on his site and may have a set left.

454's

About the only place that has stock in these wheels is Unique Perforance the company building the GT500E's he buys them in lots of 100 but they aren't chromed only polished w/ gray inserts. You could then get them chromed by droping them off at your local wheel shop or even a body shop knows a good chrome guy.

454's

About the only place that has stock in these wheels is Unique Performance the company building the GT500E's he buys them in lots of 100 (now made by ultra wheels)but they aren't chromed only polished w/ gray inserts. You could then get them chromed by droping them off at your local wheel shop or even a body shop knows a good chrome guy. They only have them in 17" thou. But not listed on there web site they can stretch the wheel for you to 17x9.5 and they also carry the PS GT40 wheel. I went w/ 17x8 for my fronts and had my rears stretched to 17x9.5 then had them chromed by my body shop. You can see pics of my wheels www.eleanorclub.com look for vikingz project pics.

Well folks. I did go check out the GT40 wheels at Mustang Depot. Halibrand also makes a Cobra III wheel that looks good. And Newstalgia makes a similar wheel. I also contacted the places suggested (and then some). No go. But, thanks for the leads.

After a lot of looking, I think I may have found the chrome 454s in 17x8. But, I was told it would be a few weeks before they are available (which makes me a bit skeptical). So, I'm going to call the company tomorrow and get the full story.
