Thanks, I hear all the time that the 31x19 radiators are too large and all kinds of problems. Wonder why some have problems and some dont?

The only problems are with the people themselves doing the work. Some are impatient, some get frustrated, some do it the night before they have to go to work and dont have another car. Physically, it is a great fit and its like they were made for our fox body mustangs. I wouldnt have went through with it if I had to bend, bang or break things on my cobra. :)

Thanks man, if I need to buy it(which I probably will) I will take your word on it.:nice: Also, what temps does your car run? If your using the stock gauge, how far does the gauge go up? Thanks man

When I added the blower, temps went through the roof. I could not even drive the car. Im talking it would go up to O in NORMAL. I got the Griffin and the temps settled down for the most part. Normal crusing would be between the M and A. But I was still not happy because when I turned on the air conditioning, the temp would go back up to the line between R and M. This to me was not acceptable. Continuing on with my quest for desireable operating temps, I recently purchased a Taurus fan with Michael Younts widely reccomended Delta Controller. Well guess what, its now Michael Younts and RydeOns widely reccomended Delta Controller because this thing is amazing. With these new mods my car runs at the L while crusing around. With the A/C on and going WOT, full boost in hot cali weather the temp goes up to that first line after L and never crosses. I am finally happy and confident with driving my car in all conditions. It turns out that my stock fan was broken and restricting flow to the Griffin while on the highway. It made the Griffin less efficient while the electric fan increased efficiency, fixed my fan problem, and benefits while I am sitting in traffic. :nice:

I might have to switch back to a 195 tstat this winter :D

Yep, thats my problem too. Car running to hot after the blower, dont know what happened. Guess more stress means hotter temps. I have a Ramchargers fan and id say thats the onlyl thing keeping mine alive. Thanks for all your help.

I use the pep boys (made by GDI) 3 core with an sn95 electric fan. Keep the receipt because the radiator is lifetime warranty. No cooling issues at all except for the fact that on cool nights it runs too cold w/o even needing the fan. No need to spend $300+ on an alum radiator, my $150 radiator and $43 fan work too good ;)

92greenlx, which one did you get from ron davis, called them awhile back regarding radiators, was kind of taken back by the price they qouted me, something close to $900.00 for the radiator, shroud, and a harness, yee haa, don't need all that radiator just yet, maybe when I hit a lottery or something.

E7RR-00008005-A, All aluminum ron davis radiator. 2-row. Including tanks $269.95 from texas mustang.

Has anyone had any experiance with this setup from Ron Davis? I know there are a lot of diverse opinions on electric fan setups. This would be for a daily driver in Central Florida.

http://www.rondavisradiators.com/radgallery.htm
part number 11-50MU231
'79-'93 Mustang
2 rows of 1" wide tubes
Stainless Steel hardware
Aluminum shroud assembly
Dual 12" electric fans - 1630 CFM each
Integrated aluminum coolant recovery tank

bmo37, I found the one you mentioned on the TexasMustang site. I couldn't cross it to a unit on the Ron Davis site. They must change the part numbers...was that a drop in unit, or did you have to make some modifications or do any fabrication?
