Well, i keep having to refill my old (15 year old) radiator with new fluid like once a week and i can see where some of it is leaking, the rest must get sucked into the combustion chambers or just turn into steam cuz of all the heat under the hood. Anyway....questions...

1. What is the best radiator to keep my 5.0 mustang cool? (overall)
2. What is the best for the money?

Thanks for your time!

Actully, i know a guy who runs a summit aluminum radiator in his car and swears by it. its only 2 rows, but they are 1" rows, which makes them bigger than most 4 or 3 rows. anyway, its like $150 through summit. the part # is sum-380428.
this guy that i know is pretty cool. he said that it takes his e fan awhile to kick on becasue it keeps it very cool with a bottle of water wetter.

It doesn't sound like the radiator is the problem. I would make sure you don't have a blown head gasket. I would also pressure test the radiator and make sure that the cap is still good. But if you really want to replace it, look into AFCO (www.afcoracing.com) nice piece for a good price (80101FN) I shopped around for a month and couldn't find a better deal.

I bought a Griffin aluminum radiator 2 years ago from summit. $182 shipped to my door and it has been running one notch cooler on the guage since i installed it. Highly recommended if you ask me. It was the universal 31x19 that i put in. Only thing i didn't like, was it didn't have a drain plug at the bottom, but you can just drill and tap it for one. Good luck.
