Just trying to get an idea of what to expect when i go to the track?

Im sure my slicks will do a lot better then my DR's but i curious of the actual difference. Looking for low 1.7's to high 1.6's 60's... Can it be done?

I've cut a best of 1.72 60' on 245-50-16 555R's. It takes practice though and involves a "finese" of clutch slippage and application of the throttle.

thats good to here that its possible anyway... I will say far as track prep goes the place i go (cordova) is one of the best... With my 8" slicks i was doing consistant 1.6's and 1.7's on 23 lbs of air pressure... A lot of the time it bogged the motor and i was doing 4-5 grand dumps...

So hopefully with my 315/35/17's i will be able to come close... 12" of rubber compared to 8" with my slicks. (lot less side wall give though)

I pulled a best of 1.705 60ft on nitto DR's. I was just dropping the clutch at 5k, of course i didnt make nearly as much power as you will be.

When my car was N/A I cut low 1.8's on 275-40-17 Nitto D/R's. The best I'd done w/ the S/C on those tires was low 1.9's. Now I run 275-50-15 BFG D/R's and cutting 1.7-1.8's is like taking candy from a baby
