Best street suspension set up?

I have an 03' GT. There a lot of ruts and uneven pavement around here and it take the car every direction but staight making the car very unstable. What is the best suspension set up to handle ruts, pot holes, and uneven pavement. Also, what tire has everone run and found give the best performance on the street?

Jacked up 4X4 and just drive. Ok I'm done been a wiseguy now

What are you wanting? Low ride? smoother ride? Better cornering? Better dragracing launch?
For tires same questions.

But giving what your post says I would stick with 17" rims and tires gives a little more sidewall to absorb the bumps. If you want a lowered look progressive springs ride better IMO. Some good shocks struts perhaps adjustable so you can tune it to what you like. SFC's are great I highly encourage them but they do seem to transmit more of the road feel to the driver may not be what you want.

Well you could go with Mach 1 springs and shock/struts. Or get a spring and shock/strut kit from a company like Eibach. Some lower control arms and sub frame connectors with some good progressive rate springs and matching shocks/struts will help alot. Will stiffen up the chassis and help soak up the bumps while improving cornering.
After that you can look at caster/camber plates, ball joints, bump stear kits, etc.
