this is pretty self explainatory....ive looked at the hanlon kit, the d&d kit, and the ford racing kit...so far i think i want to get the hanlon kit, but before i do, is the ford racing kit one to consider because its like $70 more...and what are the synchros made out of in these kits? brass? i found some on ebay that had carbon kevlar 3rd and 4th gear synchros....im ordering tonite, so i'd really like to know...thanks guys

i wish i could help with telling you the difference between the two kits, but how hard is it to rebuild the tranny? i have zero experience with rebuilding one, but "green mustang gt" insists i could do it... sorry to hijack, but you said you were going to order "tonight" two days ago, so i hope/think its safe by now to do so, hehe

How much do those kits go for? I know LMR has a rebuild kit for $225.

My brother is rebuilding my t5. We ordered the kit from the ford racing catalog. I'll let you know how it turned out. I don't remember the exact price.
