best traction setup for the street/strip. what do you run?

i want my car to get up and go when i go to the track. right now i have no traction thanks to my 3000 stall, 3.73's on my 245 nitto 555's (not R's)

i currently have nothing done to the suspension besides sub frame connectors. my battery will be relocated to the trunk in the spring too. i had 2 inch lowering springs on my car before but i removed them because my car was way too low with my bodykit. its still low with the stock springs. theres alot of speed bumps pot holes, ****ty roads basically. so i'm kind of stuck with stock springs

what i'm thinking about is, tokico 5 way adjustables struts/shocks, Mac upper and lower control arms (not the best i know),.

is there something else i can do?

I have Lakewood lower control arms, the traction bars or whatever. I have that mach 1 springs and tokico HP shocks out back with the 18x10 wheels. 3.73 gears and all i all it works well on the street(minimal tire spin unless i want it to spin), and i am betting i will have little to no traction problems at the track with the DR's(soon to be Mickeys)

I have read that the Eibach drag spring kit is the same or close to the same height as stock springs. If you have no intensions of corner carving then this could be your answer. As well as some drag radials that are wider than the stock 245s.

Drag springs or Coil overs (14/175s)
The nice adj strut will work well
The upper/lowers will def help with wheel hop
Get the 555rs

I have strange 10 way adjustable coil overs,,adjustable control arms,anti-roll bar set up out back,,competion engineering 90/10 drag struts in the front,,Running 28 X 11.5" E/T streets...My 60' are not great yet,,but I also run 5 sp and am not powershifting into 2nd and only launching at 3500 because of stock rear end..I have put in axles and posi this winter so will be launching alot higher this year and powershifting,, so I think that'll knock about 2 to 3 tenths off in my 60'..

I have BBK upper and lowers, stock springs, tubular front suspension with 90/10's, stock rear shocks, and m/t et street radials, i have done 1.59 60', but I think I could get low 1.5's

My suspension setup:

Front- Stock K member, Eibach Drag springs, Lakewood 70/30 struts, no sway bar.

Rear- UPR Pro series upper and lower control arms, Eibach Drag springs w/ air bag in pass. side, Lakewood 50/50, UPR Torque Box re-enforcements, Spherical Differential bushings, no sway bar.

I have a best N/A 60' of 1.56 on drag radials. So track this setup works great. On the street it is tame enough to drive daily but not firm enough for now high speed cornering.

Ive been looking at these....They usually sell then in both U and L's or separate, but this particular auction is for both. They look like nice ones.

RC the build quality looks good, but then you have the argument that the joints are urethane or that they are solid etc. I personally would run a set like that, but as far as everything that i have read they will just be noisy

thanks for all the replys guys

RC- i was looking at UMI too. i'm more interested in there lift bars with relocation brackets. i'm a little afraid of loosing riding comfort and noise with the spherical rod ends also ripping out my torque boxes.

if i sell my stock waffles with tires for a good price. i'm thinking of picking up some drag lites and drag radials just for the rear.

honestly man i would get a 255/50 drag radial or something an put it on the waffles, and save that money.. You can sell two of the waffle wheels without a problem, to someone looking to do the same.. IMO

They actually have no drop on my car, it actually sits up a bit in front.
