best traction setup for the street/strip. what do you run?

Well, I'll have today. Stopped by last night afterwork to see how they were doing. They had the back springs in the car in like 30 minutes.... the front ones are about 1/4" taller than the stock spring they took out. The compression tools he owns has too long of a threaded rod on them to fit once in the A Arm. Matt said he would get a different setup this morning to finish the front ones up.

Really glad I didn't try to do this job at home in my garage. Lowering springs maybe, but these, nope not a job for me.

BTW - I'll show pics before and after, and give ride height measurements. Stock my car was 8" in the front and 8.5" in the rear measuring from the floor to the ground effects right by the tires.

I'll even see if I can add a drag spring launch onto my stall converter video.

Stock launch.... Stall launch.... Stall and Spring launch :)

ok cool. cant wait to see the pics.

anybody running a set of KYB AGX adjustable stuts and shocks?? theres a guy selling a set new in box and wants $400 Canadian OBO.

hopefully with the lakewood lift bars, adjustable shocks/struts, and eibach spring kit, i can lift the wheels up when i launch if i dont snap an axle first LOL

Well if you want before and after pics.... just look at any of my pics. It's still the exact same height. We even put the car back on the ground with one stock spring in the front and one drag spring. You could feel the difference if you pushed on the front end, but it looks just the same.

Went for a quick test run... the front end did NOT come up during the test. :( However, there are some factors involved that I need to fix before it's a true test. One is we rotated my tires front to back and I had less air in the back tires (which are now on the front) So the back now most likely have too much air. Also, the sway bar is probably tighter than it was.... and finally, I don't have any air in the airbag in the rear. Oh, and my car is about on empty. I never take my car to a shop with a full tank of gas if I can help it. LOL
