Hey guys. My MAF has seen cleaner days, and I was wondering the best, least harmfull way to clean it. I have heard many different methods, and have done a search already. Brake cleaner, carb cleaner, electronic cleander, alcohol w/ a q-tip, ect. Any consensus on the best way to do this? Thanks.

Spray it with electronic cleaner - don't touch it - it's too easy to break.

Q tip with TB cleaner or electonic cleaner. Its really not that hard to break unless your retarded. Just be gentel.

I just spray some electric cleaner over it for a couple seconds. The residue evaporates almost instantly. No mess AND I don't have to take the whole thing apart. Just spray through the screen. Oddly, with my mileage, my MAF has always been quite clean.
