Best way to lift front of car for shifter installation

I just want to confirm that I can stick a flook jack under the crossmember by the oil pan so I can lift the front of the car up high enought to put stands underneath.

The diagram I picked up shows this as a jack pint but I want to make sure before I lift her up.
