Best way to seal differential cover?

I definitely meant the stock piece. I don't know that the girdle will seal any better, but it is stronger.

I thought you had, but I miss subtleties all the time.

I kinda thought that if one was going to try running without one bolt, the girdle might have a better chance of sealing than the stock cover (the stocker needs more bolts. LOL).
That all makes sense now.
