Best way to spend $600?

Labor quotes around my area were in the ballpark of $500 at most shops, back when I was thinking about (and financially able to even consider) switching out the 4.10's in the notch I had for 3.73's and having the LSD rebuilt, plus new bearings. I didn't wanna have a bearing or something crap out later on from general wear and then need to go back in there in a couple of months, again.

$600 ain't likely to cover gears properly, if you add in the cost of labor and an LSD rebuild kit, unless you get some killer-cheap deals on the parts and have a buddy willing and able to do up the work (correctly) for free or dirt cheap.

My vote's on upper/lower control arms, torque box reinforcements, and SFC's. Makes what you've already got work better for you, and anything you throw at it afterwards will work for you that much better.

FWIW, a CAI of just about any form is utterly worthless for performance for at least 80% of most folks. A stock box and a drop-in K&N or FRAM Airhog works better, as it won't freak out your MAF sensor.

everything cost me parts...im doing everything to my car on my own with the help for a ford tech  for gears anyway...i got the rest covered..)except for a damn an95 swap
