I just went down the road for the first time since I got the tune on my car. It went for about 5 miles before this happened. It rubbed into on my emergency brake cable mount. I heard something rubbing a little, but I didn't think it was that much.

It is very low. I guess it is way to low. I need ideas on how to get it up just about a 1". Tell me anything that would cross your mind. I don't want it to do that again.

do you have the spring insolators? they are good for about a 1/2 inch if your lucky. other than that, get new springs.

i would get a set of adjustable lower control arms for the rear of the car, the ones that you can adjust the spring cup or whatever for the stance

Bah, nothing some super glue won't fix. Just put a lil' dab in there, squeeze both pieces of the driveshaft together, and wrap her up with some duct tape. Good as new!

What are you running for a pinion snubber?? Mine scraped once pretty decent.I added a Mac adjustable pinion snubber and that limits the travel and stopped it...you may just be to freakin low...did you have people in the back seat??? that doesn't help any when your that low...you can grind that bracket, but not a whole lot...

That's nothing, a good friend had one totally come off on his 93 while he was spraying as well, it broke the crank in 3 pieces and the block was not unable.

To the driveshaft.......i've never seen that one, that's crazy

Nope, nobody in the back seat. Nope, no dog bone. Nope, springs don't have but about 3k miles on them. I will get some pics up tonight of the stance and the TURBO. I think the duct tape is the direction I am headed. I bet I can get a piece of 2x4 put in between a couple of the turns on the springs to get it up a little bit. I still need ideas on it. Oh, and thank you.

Hate your luck! I broke one in my truck once, at WOT, scared the p00p outa me.

Lots of people running pro-kit springs in here, never heard of them being so low the car scraped against the ground easily, let alone against itself.. I know mine don't.

Possible fix: You used to be able to buy some little wedge things at the 4wheel drive stores, you put them between the coils and then rotated them with a wrench to spread the coils and get a little lift, they may still be available. werent expensive, and looked better than a 2x4...

I just ordered some new urethane bushings and an adjustable snubber and of course a new DS at the higher price. I might even try that spring wedge things.
