Wow, that is a scarey sight! Even a DS loop wouldn't help you on that one! How's your E-brake cable/bracket?

Since we're posting pics of carnage, here's some of mine from my balancer and the results of my DS after blowing a front U joint... THANK GOD for my DS safety loop. EVERYONE should have one of these on their car, it could save your life!

paul you are right about the DS loop, i will neverhave another performance car without it. I have beent there with no loop, and it scared the hell outta me. Im sure some of you remember the pics etc.. I was a walking advertisement for them for a while.

caused a broken tranny case, twisted DS, bent mainshaft in tranny, and also a broken reverse gear among other things

they are nothing to play with,

Paul, have you considered the lower control arms i was telling you about, you would get upgraded control arms, and a little height adjustment. I would say that you could take that DS to a machine shop that can balance DS's etc. and have it welded and rebalanced. We have a shop around here like that. They will also custom make you one if you want

If installing these new bushings and snubber don't get me high enough, then I will find the adjustable control arms. As far as the DS getting fixed, it is a whole easier when you live in BFE to order stuff in. I live about a hour from really town that is worth even driving to from here. Thanks for the help.

I had the same problem with the driveshaft rubbing on the ebrake bracket and it was because I took off the dog bone and failed to put the rubber piece that goes oppositie the dog bone back on. I put it back on and vwala, no more rubbing.

All I remeber is the 2 bolts that held it on. Could you be talking about the snubber that is mounted above the rearend? If not, describe to me where it is to find this part please.

Sorry I meant the bracket that is held on by those two bolts on top of the rear end that hits the rubber piece attached to the body. I put that bracket back on with smaller bolts and it limited the rear end travel and no more rubbing.

Bet you can't do this...
