Heres the deal.
The 5.0 had NO compression (well, 10 psi) in #4 cylinder when i got it.
After I tore it apart, expecting something horrible, i couldnt find ****.
Pouring oil down the piston didnt help ****, so piston rings is out.
the heads were checked and decked by napa. No problems with them.
AHA! 2 of the lifters are stuck?!!?
replaced the lifters, put everything back together. and. 40 psi.
wtf. pour some more oil down the piston. what happens? it DROPS to 30 psi.
(this is all done on 4 cranks BTW)
so what the **** is wrong? I bet you dont know!!!!

Idwitheld-1`>>> Listen to him, do a leak down test and stop the guessing. Listen to where the air is leaking out. Its a no brainer!
