Bet you've never seen these wheels on a 99+ GT

They are only temporary, but they look ok.

I took my OEM Bullitts to a friends shop you mount up some new tires. In doing so, we discovered one of the OEM wheels was bent and wobbled on the machine. It balanced out ok, but since it was also badly curbed, i decided to kill two birds with one stone and replace that wheel. I'll do it after the holidays.

In the meantime, since the sucky Kumho 712's on my Fox were nearing their 6-year expiration date and have 75% tread left, i decided to mount them up for the winter to wear them down and use them up before replacing them with something more suited for AutoXing my Fox.

Someone told me my car looks like a V6 now since the wheels are similar to the 16" Machined V6 wheels. SHould make things fun late at night :)

No lowering jokes here. The weird angle of the driveway is exaggerating that rear wheel gap. My car is a DD i drive over some pretty rough New England roads....prob how i bent my wheel anyway.

OEM bullitts with new Bridgestone Potenza S-03's. I cleaned the backsides, polished up the lips and had them balanced with stick-on weights on the outside. Just gotta replace one bent wheel :(

They are kinda growing on me. Here's more of a staged shot

Too bad there weren't any silver Cobras. I think they match well to SIlver

I was kinda wondering the same thing

If anything, they look like a 17" version of the V6 wheels. I beleive the center caps are the same part as well

wow i was just gonna say... is your car a V6??..................... :D

i like those wheels, but not to be too offending, they kinda make the car look like a V6 especially with the running pony side emblems. still nice rims tho

Guess I've never been a fan of original equipment rims until the 03/04 Cobra and the Bullits.....even if there were on a Cobra.... They just don't seem to bring out the cars full potential.
