I decided to whip out the ol' buffer and do a cleaner wax on her after washing her. And of course I went to my sis's house and it started to rain. But nice thing about a waxed car....drive home fast and it's dry.

Very sweet. If I didn't need a back seat I would be tempted to get one myself.Do you have any mods planned for the beast?

Right away....tint, and reinstall the alarm I had on the Mustang.

Then some basic stuff, like a partition for the trunk, lower it (which is done for free), and some other simple stuff. The exhaust is perfect as it is, but I'll eventually do longtubes, cold air intake, FAST intake and a cam. Tim at Modular Powerhouse is looking at adding Vettes to the roster, so he'll do the cam and tune for me.

Looks sweet man
I heard one of those with an SLP exhaust on it at a car meet, revving it was making our clothes shake like there was a tornado and I was about 10 feet away...incredibly loud

HA! I'm working on it! I'll do some vids like my 4.10 gear vids.

Well, it's hard to explain the speed alone. The GT had a CRAPLOAD of power. But it didn't come on till late in the RPM band. The vette has loads of torque EVERYWHERE. I'll be in 5th at 40mph and floor it and it just GOES. Even on the freeway in 6th at 60. No need to downshift. The stang I always had to downshift (unless you have 4.10's, then you won't need to).

Does the vette have that high RPM OH CRAP factor like Sundance? No, but it's close. The vette is geared (tranny) so that it's just a relentless climb to higher speeds.

Very nice car! Now please somebody ban him before he starts talking about how fast it is and I end up with no back seat and a much bigger car payment, because I had to go out and get a yellow one just like it!

Keep in mind, the stang was probably faster. Plus I still love stangs, so you won't find me ripping on them. Not if I want to stay a moderator.

You may want to look into a corsa exhaust....A friend of mine at work had a 2000 C5 coupe (looks just like the Z06 W/O the badges...3150#s) FULL corsa exhaust with a cam (400RWHP). Thing sounds SICK...probably one of the best sounding vettes I ever heard.
He actually just sold it to another guy that works there LOL. I couldnt have sold that thing
