Beware of Gary's Tire Factory.. ruined my wheels

John, man that sucks sorry to hear all this! Dont say another word to them or maybe you should after you tell them you are going to court with them over this. Dont settle for nothing less then a full wheel's replacement. And maybe also mention the attorny general as well as the BBB will know about this and a complaint has been filled or will be filed if they dont replacethe wheels and that you have evidence and witnesses that know they did it. I do agree with the shop that they possible could'nt get them on the wheels cause when i had my 315's mounted on the same wheels you have the guy faught them for 1/2 hour each wheel, and because they are such a biotch to get on them they prob. damanged your wheels espically if the guy doing the job was a rookie. Good luck and let us know how it turns out. They might not own up to it and take the threats but you'll be surprise how they are in the court room. I know i went threw the same stuff here with VANCOUVER FORD (which are the devil) when i took them to court and not only sued them but WON after they scamed me and my warrenty company for a $1700.00 tranny. I told them we were going to court and they said OK. The judge is like me and you and dont enjoy being riped off by these crooked ass shops! peace

on my thread in the 4.6 section, you can see my cousin threatened them with the bbb. they just acted shocked he said.

im calling them tomorrow. im not hiring an attorney over 300 dollars. by the time it all ended its not worth it. i cant believe someone has the balls to stand face to face and denie it though. not even offer the 40 dollars back for mounting.

they said the rim didnt have the right lip drop off for the machine and it was going to tear the tire. i forget the exact phrase it is, but the other shop had no problems at all mounting them. they even said, its no problem, if you know what your doing that is.

the first place went as far to say i would have to ship the wheels/tires out to have a specialty shop mount them. they had their head up their ass obviously, if you cant mount a tire and damage someones rim, at least own up to it. the rims arent that expensive. however, i dont have the money to begin with for the bullets they ruined, its on a credit card payment for me. now im supposed to add more? i think its rediculous.

i asked for half the cost of damage, 150 bucks. they said no. my cousin said 40 bucks for mounting, no. so now ill see if i can get what i deserve back, the 300 for both rims.

any shop that does not know how to mount a dd bullit wheel needs to be put out of buisness... it is simple, you need the right equipment... if you dont have the equipment then you shouldnt be doing it. plain and simple. I've mounted custom one off billet wheels that have very tiny drop centers that are much much harder to mount than the dd bullits that I've mounted. But then again I have the right equipment :D
