BFG KDW

I f***ing hate the stock piece of crap tires on these cars . Had a blow out 3 months ago, replaced with same brand tire. Cruising down the road today the new tire with less than 5k miles on it decides it wants to tear a 4 inch slit on the side wall f***ing *****!!!

Arn't the stock tires Pirelli P-Zero Neros? I never ran the BFG KDW, but I have run the now extinct KDs and loved them, though not for drag use.

I wish it came with pirelli. If im not mistaken the 17's come with pirelli while the 18's come with the worst tire ever made bfg gforce kdw

The 18" come with BFG KDWS not KDW ; there is a difference. KDWS are the all season tires and don't handle or stick as well as BDF KDW.

That sucks, I had that problem with the sumitumo's on my 95 and the 315-35 that blew out was only a week old along wiht the new rim driving down I-95. I had okay luck with stock bfgs as I got alittle over 40k miles out of them and would have been more if it didn't have a terrible alignment, but traction wasn't by any means great.

Yeah, that's the KDW2. Much different than the KDWS.

Maybe you just have bad luck?

I had a couple of set of the KDWS and they wear pretty good. A new set on the Grabber.

Why don't you tell us how you really feel.

I'd chalk it up to bad luck... that really sucks, there are a lot of stangs on the road with those BFGs problem free.
