KDW 2s are decent.
I personally like the nitto 555s a ton better.

Depends on what youre doin with them...drag, everyday driving, etc...

I've been seriously thinking about getting the Konig Beyonds too...are yours 17" or 18"? (or maybe those new GT500 replicas from AmericanMuscle )

They are 18's but they don't come in many choices for width. I think mine are 9.5" and that's the widest they go. I want to get something in black chrome now. Just not sure what, FR500's, Saleens, etc.
OP, sorry for threadjack. I hope my pics of KDW's make up for it.

Looks like the rears are facing the wrong way. They are directional tires, may have something to do with the grip problem.

Yeah they are. Someone on another forum noticed that when I originally posted the pics awhile back and I changed them. I was so pumped about trying them out I kinda missed the big directional arrow on the side of the tire.

I don't think you can get a better tire for the money.

The KDW2 is a little better, being the second generation of the tire. But for the price TireRack is asking, there isn't anything close to the KDW, it's a good tire.

It is not a good tire in cold climates, as it loses it's grip easily near freezing temps. Personally I think 40-50 is a bit cold for it. But I was very happy with them in the summer.

Yeah for that price its the best choice. I run the KDWS tires they are better in snow. The KDWS is also the stock tire on the 09 Bullitt.

Well if your budget is tight then get them. But I was not impressed.

Then again, I had Pilot Sports that cost a crap load, and they werent anything special either. The KDW2 seems to do great up here in MA when the temps aren't always that high. They just ALWAYS grip. Great tires!!!!!
The KDW1s were just OK. The Pilot Sports were only good in HOT weather, if they were cold they were useless.

I might just save up and get better tires. I was thinking about getting 275s on my rears.
