Big down at higher rpm’s

I was driving home today and my 79 mustang was really bogging down whenever I hit higher rpm’s or went to a higher speed.
Is this carb issue or plugs and wires?

Yes.
Wait, that was a multiple choice question
I'd start with checking the float level, vacuum secondary? Check the vacuum line to the secondary actuator, vacuum advance can effect higher RPMs too

Check your fuel filter and your fuel pump...

Pull codes….wait, no…ha ha ha ha!!! I’m terrible with carbs but at least you don’t have all the wiring to deal with.

Alky in the fuel sticks the needles in the needle and seats
Install / use steel (alcohol) needles in the Holley and road test it again
