Big Power Verts?

So I've recently bought an 01 convertable. And was concerned about the lesser reinforcements the vert has. Would iI be waisting time and money on this project? Looking for around 550 wwhp. Anyone here close to that with a vert? What are some chassis mods you've done? Thanks for anyone's help

On the SVTPerformance forum you'll find plenty of guys with verts in that range. Number one modification would be sub frames (I personally like the Stifflers FIT system best), and number two would be FTBR (Full Time Boogie Racing) IRS bushing kit. Those two will make a huge difference.
