bigg problem with pins

i was repinning the computer and the number 5 pin which is supposed to be removed broke off the wire and now is stuck in the plug. is there anyway i can get it out? please help this is in a 91 by the way.

Get a couple of mechanics picks and a magnifying glass (for those of us who are visually impaired). In the front of the connector, the end that plugs into the ECU, there's a very small tab that releases the pin. Pull that down with one pick and push the pin out the back with the other pick.

Im with him, I would release ALL the pins using that method, makes it virtually impossible to break one off. After you get the pin out Splice one of your extra unused pins onto that wire and that should fix the problem.

im gonna try it tomorrow morning. i dont need to use that pin i just need to get it out since it says to remove that pin.

technically you "did" remove that pin when it broke

at this point in the game I'd just do it the ghetto way and hotglue gun the top of it to seal it off
