Ok... another question for this thread. If I'm not looking for SFI approval for what's basically a street only car... are there any other advantages to a billet steel piece? Is the material harder / does it last longer? Or should I just stick with the regular ole flywheel for my street only app?

Should last any longer then a stock, except you can change out the surface when it gets too low which you can't do on a stocker.

No advantage other then you know it will not fly apart on you, if you need to buy one go SFI. It is more important that you have the SFI bell then the flywheel, I have seen stock cars blow clutches and destroy the stock bell and anything in it's way.

Words of wisdom there

I loved how much smoother and quicker mine rev'd with it, but it's kindof a high price to pay for just that. Main reason was that my stock flywheel was toasted, so I got a small deal on it in the kit with my SPEC clutch. In the long run, it'll be nice to not have to resurface it anymore.

I got mine from SPEC directly. 1-800-828-4379

Lot's of guys in here have gotten SPEC stuff from Perky right here on SN and give him rave reviews, so you may want to try him too- unless you don't want SPEC.
