st louis mo.
my new bilstein hd struts and shocks will be in monday,im hoping this will take care of the rough and bumpy ride that i got when using the factory equipment with my h&r super sport springs, anyone have any experience with this combo?

the ride will be alot harsher on bad surfaces. the handling will be greatly improved.

the supersports have a pretty low drop and moderatly high rate so looks are great but ride quality suffers a hair.

get subs and phb and or lower cotrol arms as well. I my experice shocks, struts, springs were about half the battle. the rear axle loctatin and flex gave the car a way more confident feel. I still need to get the PHB. I just got the drag arms with spherical bearing front and rear on someon elses sugestion if I could not afford both panhard bar and control arms.

To me, the ride doesn't seem harsh or too firm. That's to me of course and everyone will have their own individual impression.

Get the PHB Hog....you won't regret it one bit and you'll be amazed at how good the rear end feels after it's in.

HD's?

Yup, exactly what I have (I also got MM full subs, MM LCA's, MM PHB). You'll love the setup.

x2 - LCA and PHB

Sorry for the hijack but how is this combo with LCA's and PHB, i was thinking of doing the torque arm as well. I believe MM sells all three (LCA PHB TA) in a package

It's amazing, light years ahead of what I had before ( Bullitt springs/shocks/struts :notnice: ). Car corners so much more flat now with no noticeable oversteer and "maybe" a bit of understeer. Nothing major and only a slight slight correction needed going through a turn.

It's so good, that I am hesitant to install the T/A even though I know it will be an improvement. I just hate to think of cutting up the x pipe.

They do sell a package, but since I did it in stages it didn't apply to me. You save a bit of money but no a whole lot.

i hope they are a least alot better,mm said that the hd struts and shocks are a match to my h&r supper sports springs i bought, with the stock stuff i have on there now its bounces me into the roof.im hoping that it calms all that business down.
