Here is a pic of the whole seat from my car, they are very supportive, and a little more firm than stock. You really feel like you are held in the seat.

I have had no issues so far, it took a few days to get "used" to them compared to the stock seats. But I don't even think about it anymore.

I did the black carpet as well....I might start doing some panels in black here and there though. Both of your interiors look great though

Comfortwise, they don't compare to the stock leather seats I had, but I never expected $200 Summit "racing" seats to be either. I'm a big guy and they are snug on my sides and all of my friends that also drive Mustangs that have sat in them thought they were comfortable. My car is a DD, but I haven't yet taken these seats on any long drives. They are comfortable enough, I guess, but anyone expecting to replace stock seats and expect comparable comfort wil be dissappointed.

I think Summit has a new version of these that has a flip forward feature, but they came out after I got these. As it sits right now, I have to rotate a knob to bring forward or recline the seat. This doesn't matter to me as I no longer had a back seat and I don't need to flip them forward other than to clean back there.

How's the FR500 steering wheel feel? Is it worth $160? And where'd you get it for $160, speedconcepts.com?

I got it from mustangtuning.com I think for $160 and they offer free shipping over $50, so...

I like it. It's much better feeling than the stock one, but I know some people think it feels somewhat cheap. I have to say that all of my buddies envy me for the wheel though.

link to steering wheel @ $165

1Bad89: Love the look of the black carpet w/the grey(?) and black interior. If that was my car I'd leave it just like that. Very clean looking.

Looks great...I'm currently doing the same thing to my grey/black interior. I just need the new steering wheel and seats before I can finish painting the dash.

Carpet only takes a couple hours, just get a buddy to help you along. Be ready to do some trimming on it as they provide you with more carpet than you need. The painting doesn't take long at all. I used the paint that 50resto sells and the stuff goes on smooth as hell. It's really great stuff. Make sure you clean the living @#$% out of whatever you're painting though.
