Black or Red...You Decide!

Well, I am trying to decide whether to paint my taillight bezels on my 95 rio red cobra black or red. I messed my stock taillights up and ordered some used ones that were black, and kinda liked the look. It seems that everyone I ask has a different opinion about them. So let me know what you think. Here are some pics to help decide.

Well, after looking at the pictures, I think the red looks better. I run black 96-98 on my white 94gt and I love em. But i think with the 94-95 tails body color looks better. just an opinion. Either way, your car looks bad ass.....

unless the car is black, i HATE the black tail lights.


they just look out of place unless they are color matched

i think red bezels with blacked out lenses would look killer. And does the car currently have the bumper and mustang insert black or red?

This is not my car, just some I found that had both different colored lenses. BTW my bumper has SS bumper inserts

i was thinking about making the same post you did. you beat me to it. im the same color with the same wheels. just painted my wing black and thought about doing my tails to match but didnt want too much black. since you are still sportin the red wing, id go black on the tails

red car/red lenses.....alot of red. black will help break that up. just my $.02

I've always been a personal fan of the black on any car... I think it helps break up the colour, but on your car?

My car is the same color as yours the black is not that bad but i like the red with the tinted tails. I have that and the pics up above look better with that.

I have red and black tails as well. Currently sporting the black as the red have faded. I've decided to go back to red and try the smoked look on the lenses. I'll be using the black tails to mock up my future cut off switch for the battery.

I love the way it looks on my car, but I got the opal frost, red I think it still looks good, but not as good as it does on other colors., maybe the tinted tails is what it needs as others have said
