So it is time to get some new lights as one of mine is just ugly looking. I really like the clear amber side markers so those will be there but I don't know if I should get the black housing or the smoked. Anyone have the smoked ones from AM? how much did the affect the lights? What does everyone think would look better as well?

They look like the ones on ebay but I couldn't get the other website to cooperate with me.

I got those same ones from AM with 8k HID's and I get compliments daily.

Edit: Forgot to tell you that my stock headlights were horrible, and when I put the stock bulbs into the smoked housings it was impossible to see 20 feet in front of me. If you buy these headlights, look into HID's, as its going to be 100% necessary. I suggest DDM Tuning, as they are super cheap, and lots of people on this forum will recommend them.

i had the tinted ones for about 6 months and even with HID's the light output was terrible. i could barely see anythign at night.

i swapped back to the clear black ones about a month before i sold the car and they were MUCH better!!!

I found some black housing from mrbodykit that look similar to those I had from the ebay link. I kinda thought they looked ok but the smoked look the best. I guess I will be going with the black lights and if I just hate it I could buy some of the tint spray and go a touch darker than they are but not as dark as the smoked. Sadly I don't think that AM sells the black with clear sidemarkers so I will have to get them elsewhere..

How much did it cost to install those BBK Longtubes? Or did you do it yourself?

Hopefully getting mine on next week. How do you like them?

Thankfully they were done before I got the car. They definately make the exhaust sound better but performance wise I couldn't tell ya too much since I don't have a before and after comparison. I was the guy who wrote about them rubbing on the driver side which I took pictures today of what I was talking about but they were lost in the world of internet. I will get them up for you to see for yourself. They also hang a bit low for me so you might have some issues with that if your lowered alot. I have C springs just waiting for Caster/Camber and Tokico's before they go on. Hope that helps..

Wow that's definitely a good bit of abrasion, what the hell is that?

Well right now I think my X-pipe is still the lowest part of my car so hopefully they shouldn't really be any lower than that.

I have Steeda Sport springs, I believe about a 1.25" drop.
