black strip on 91 lx

you know the black strip that goes around the car..........i have a white 91 lx and have seen several lx s that have the strip color matched to car.....should it be painted or no...need some feed back

After a certain year(early 90's?) the fox Mustangs came from the factory with the molding painted the same as the car.When I painted my 86 I liked the way it looked so I painted it but I think it is a personal preference.What you can do is go on ebay and do a search of the Mustangs for sale and have a look at the ones in your color with the molding painted and not painted and see what you prefer.

The molding was black from 87 to 90 i think on the aero head light cars, then it went to body color, i prefer the body color vs. the blk makes the car look newer.
