Anyone know of any kind of good black wax out there? I just used Turtlewax color cure but i dont think it protects like other waxs. Ive seen one carnabu black wax on the internet but it was back ordered for a while. If you know anything that will work good it would be a help thanx in advance.

There are plenty of products that do NOT leave white residue. Have you tried NXT Tech Wax? It is a synthetic polymer (no carnauba). There is also S100 which is available at most Harley dealers, it is a carnauba but does not leave a white residue. Those are just a couple, there are plenty more.

Aside from using a product that does not leave a white residue have you tried just being more careful where you put the wax :p The other alternative is to use painters tape to cover up trim and any place you don't want wax to go. It may sound like a lot of work but, it actually saves the time it would take to remove the wax from all the crevices.

Just my 2 cents :)

The NXT Tech Spray Wax is just a booster for the NXT Tech Wax. It is meant to apply touchups between waxings.

I usually use a very old and well used soft toothbrush with a good quick detailer to remove wax from crevices.

Another thing that will cause white residue is using too much product. It is far better to put on 2 very thin coats than it is 1 heavy one.

White residue can be a pain but, I don't think I would go as far as to cover up the true color of my paint with a colored wax to avoid it.
