You would think so... But the cars in my area are usually pretty loud and do alot dumber stuff than i do so they kinda take the heat

That too. It's like tinted tail lights. Just another reason to get pulled over.

It is sorta straight piped. Theres no mid pipe and the cats are gutted. Im gonna put a Offroad H pipe on it soon. I like the sound and so do other local guys.. They think i have something bigger under the hood. Haha its just a wee 306.

For anybody to be fooled into thinking that just because you have an open sounding exhaust that the engine is somehow larger would leave me convinced that they knew nothing.

Loud is just loud. It's a red ink stamp across your forehead that reads " Kid". Loud doesn't equate to a good sounding exhaust. Put a real muffler on it, and restore the cats. The only thing anybody gets out of having a gutted ( or no) cats, is a driver and passenger that smell like gassy ass.

Its just got a way bassier tone since its got dumps and open exhaust. Even my dad said it sounded like it had a few more cubes than it has. And tbh i dont get any gas smell at all. Nor do i get drone. These mufflers are pretty cool for what they are. I mean im only 21 and still enjoy a loud, angry, stubborn, black top demon and all the ups and downs it comes with. Ill save the quiet power for when im older.

Oh and black widows are real mufflers. Not mainstream but very good quality and do the job.

because when your older and the tinnitus is driving you crazy because the only thing you can hear is that ringing in your head. Ask me how I know.

Its not deafening loud lol plus its a weekend warrior. I drive a mercury for my daily. I know better than to damage myself long term.

This video sums up any vehicle with an obnoxiously loud exhaust that's driven on the street (and slow to boot)
