blew a head gasket

my tstat got stuck twice on the way home from work. car over heated up to 260 degrees. later that night i discovered water in my oil so i started tearing into it and didnt get that far before i ran out of day light.

my question is what sort of important little rules do i hve to follow while putting the heads back on? torque specs. thread sealer. patterin in which i tighten the bolts. and anything else i have have forgotten?

id like to get thsi done today so i can get back to work tomorrow.

Well the heads need to be taken the machine shop and inspected, they may have warped....

well andy i plan on buying a 94/95 v6 this summer w/ future plans to put the 351 in it. so we'll see what sup w the club

i bought a set of e7 heads awhile back. will they work?

well i got it all torn down and the heads are ready to go on. BUT and this is a big BUT. i dont have a torque wrench. is it possible to to this w/ out one?

Nope, not possible. Go buy one, don't be cheap, do it right the first time.
