I have an 87 gt. I have hazzard lights but no turn signals, Ive changed the flasher under the steering wheel. I have took the hazzard switch off to look for losse wires. How can I test my turn signal switch? any other things I can look for? thanks

To confirm, you changed the TS flasher - it's generally on a loose pigtail?

Are all of the fuses intact?

Is there power going into the TS flasher when the TS is activated?

Check the ignition switch on the steering column. It is probably coming apart.

Yes the flasher was on a loose pigtail under the steering wheel, all fuses look to be intact. As for the voltage going to the flasher I dont know the batts. in my meter were dead that day I was working on it. Can I jumper one of the plugs that go's to the TS lever to see if it makes up? thanks

Use or make a test-light and check for continuous power (when the TS is turned on) into the flasher and pulsed power leaving it (the test light should pulse like a turn signal).
