We have a new performance shop in town. They hare running a special on a procharger kit for the SVT. $3,500 total, this includes the install; it includes everything(no hidden costs) even the 24hr. return computer flash. He guarantees it will make 550 rwhp (but said it would be closer to 560 or more)on a mustang dyno.

The kit looked sweet you should see the intake, OOh yea.

What do you think is this a good price ???

Either way, that is 100% BS. You have a stock block? If so, and he is "guaranteeing 550RWHP"???? I would be worried with any tuner that says he guarantees a certain number. Does that mean he will sacrafice safety for more power :shrug:

Lets assume you have a Cobra with full exhaust, stock block and heads, and you put the charger on....460-490RWHP are typical numbers. 550RWHP...oh wait this just got better...on a MUSTANG DYNO. That's over 600RWHP on a dynojet. Your car will blow up within 1 day....maybe on the dyno.

I would run far away from this shop...they have no clue what they are taking about. To hit 550RWHP on a Mustang dyno you will need a bigbore forged block, ported heads and intake, 15-20 lbs of boost, 55lb injectors, a return style fuel setup...and maybe run race gas.

Sorry about the rant, but that shop is doomed. Oh, what intake are you referring to in your post? With a centrifical blower you don't get a new intake. I'm confused on that comment.

Sorry you feel so strongly about this company claims but if it dosent produce they will make it so. This is just one of the shops who offer this system.

Wait...back the bus up. I didn't know you had an 03 Cobra. Your sig says 00 GT.

Delete post....on an 03 Cobra...hell ya that's a good deal. You shouldn't have a problem hitting those numbers. On a GT or pre-03 Cobra, simply no way.

You need to update your sig.
You have to agree though, any company that says they guarantee you will get over 500 RWHP on a stock block pre 03 Cobra is full of it.
