Blowing fuses

I seem to keep blowing the fuse for my instrument lights. Checked my fuses, only the same one is blowing. I also lost my door chime. No clue why, not as if this is a big deal. What else is tied to this blowing fuse that can be causing issues? How do you find the short? Sounds like a headache in the making, but I don't need my car burning to the ground due to faulty wiring.

Do you have any add on electrical accessories like a CD player, amp or aftermarket gauges? If so start with them.

Amp is disconnected, radio works fine, and the 1 aftermarket gauge (temp) is the only thing lighting up, since it's wired seperately from the rest of the instruments.

Could have gotten hot and partially melted a plug in the dash. I've seen it happen. Now getting a little arc and it's blowing the fuse.
