i have a 99 3.9L ive gone through 3 transmissions in the past 6 months!! ive changed everything throwout and pilot bearings new clutch 2 poss situations. i used a 94 block i was told eveything was the same and would match,thinkin may b the crank to flywheel off balance? one more ive been using a b&m short shifter on all of these transmissions i matched it to the stock and of course the top is shorter but the bottom w the little pivot ball at the end is about an inch past the bolt plate on the stock shifter. but the b&m is about 2 inches so may b its not for this car and bending the shift bar? i built this car first project thought i did everything right but obviously screwed up somewhere any advice would help thnx
